Powell Home Builders, Inc. was founded in 1997. Tony Powell, President of the company, is a licensed and registered Builder and Landscape Architect in the State of Georgia. He received his degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. After practicing in an Architecture / Engineering firm for four years, he started devoting his time to building custom homes for families in Athens/Clarke, Barrow, Greene, Morgan, Putnam and Oconee County. Powell Home Builders, Inc. has built homes ranging from $150,000 to $2,500,000. Much of their effort today is focused on Custom Homes in the Lake Oconee area and in Oconee County, which is just a short distance from Athens. Powell Home Builders, Inc. is a member of both the National Home Builders Association and the Athens Area Home Builders Association.

Charlotte Johnson Homes
Charlotte Johnson has over 23 years of experience in residential construction and remodeling. She creates unique and functional homes based on the needs of her clients. She has won the coveted Athens Area Board of Realtors Revitalization Award and built the first show home for Atlanta Magazine at Chateau Elan in Braselton in 1992. Charlotte prides herself on listening and understanding the needs of her clients and works with them to create their dream homes. She has built and remodeled homes in Clarke, Oconee, Barrow counties. She has been married for 37 years has three children and two grandchildren. Charlotte enjoys working with local charities offering her time and the proceeds from the show home tours.
Charlotte has been one of 100 builders selected annually as a member of the Southern Living ® Custom Builder Program since 2002 and continues today to build Southern Living house plans. She has been successful in doing the Southern Living ® Tour of Homes which benefits local charities.
Charlotte Johnson was selected for Southern Living ® Custom Builder Program again for 2011 as well as being selected one of the premier builders for Vintage Farms Oconee.
